Hailing from a small town named 'Ghaziabad' did not stop Lara Dutta to make it big in the world of modeling and films. The talented beauty was already getting popular doing modeling assignments for brands like Ceat, Coke and Sprite. It was 'Gladrags Modeling Competition' that truly discovered Lara's talent and gave her the confidence to participate and win the Miss Femina India contest. The 'Miss India' title paved her way to the Miss Universe Crown. Lara then decided to make a career in Bollywood and her debut film 'Andaaz' won her the Filmfare Best Debut Award. Since then she has been consistently a part of box office hits such as 'Masti', 'Kaal' and 'Partner'. Apart from Bollywood, Lara avidly participates in various AIDS related events and has been diligently working towards the cause of HIV/AIDS Awareness. Lara is also the UN Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund.
