Farah Khan is one of Bollywood's most famous choreographers. She has also ventured into film direction of late. She made her debut in choreography with Aamir Khan starrer Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander. She is a close friend of Shahrukh Khan and has choreographed for most of his films.

She achieved international recognition for her work in Monsoon Wedding, Vanity Fair and Bombay Dreams. She has won the Filmfare Best Choreography award, 5 out of 6 times and also a National Award for her Idhar Chala Main... from Koi.. Mil Gaya. Another feather in her cap is the dance she choreographed for a Bollywood version of Hips Dont Lie performed by Shakira. Both her directorial ventures, Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na have been huge successes.
