Born in 1973, into an artistically dedicated family, Runit Arya has received vocal training from some of the finest musicians across the nation. Basic vocal training is in the tradition of Banaras Gharana and when most toddlers learn to frame the whole sentence, Runit Arya at the age of five set his foot on the stage.

Hindustani semi classical music is the essence of his soul and his zeal to further keep his passion for singing. Music, which is imbibed in its very core, has helped him to reach the heights of ecstasy.

Time has not diminished his immense passion for music and singing ever since the age of five and has remained unparallel till date. Singing has given a new dimension to the meaning of his life and Ghazals being one of the popular Genres of music has been his favorites.

Some of the feathers in his cap are the Solo concert at Agra Taj Mahoutsav 2005 and 2006, which was aired live on television with major coverage in the print media and the concert at Indo-Pakistan Sufi festival organized by ICCR. The Taj Mahoutsav is an internationally acclaimed annual event with this year being special as we are celebrating 350 years of one of the seven wonders in the world - TajMahal. Runit Arya has done over 300 live concerts both in India and abroad (London and Singapore).

He has also been associated with various NGO's for Cancer Kids, Old age homes, wildlife and has been instrumental in encouraging people to contribute for a noble cause.
