One of India's first and most popular rap artists, Baba Sehgal was introduced by the famous composer A.R. Rahman. His music has received much appreciation on MTV Asia. An alumni of BITS Pilani, Baba Sehgal's video was the first Indian music video to be played on MTV Asia. Till date he has released 22 music albums which have received nationwide appreciation. Some of the most famous have to be Thanda Thanda Pani, Manjula and Alibaba. Another thing about Baba Sehgal is that he sings, composes and writes in his albums all by himself. He appeared as the lead actor in Miss 420 and hosted a TV show, Superhit Muqabla. He has also been the music director for film Dance Party and Bhoot Uncle. Presently, he is acting in a TV show, Jugni Challi Jalandhar.
