Zeenat Aman is an Indian film actress who brought the western touch to the Indian film heroine. She was the winner of the 1970 Miss Asia Pacific title. Soon after, she began her film career with the 1971 film, Hulchul albeit with a small role. She won hearts in 1972 with her song Dum Maaro Dum in the film Hare Rama Hare Krishna. For this she also received her first Filmfare for Best Supporting Role. Throughout the 1970s, Zeenat Aman did many films with superstar Dev Anand like Ishq Ishq Ishq, Heera Panna, Darling Darling etc. Another big budget film she worked in was Satyam Shivam Sundaram, however this did not do as well as expected by most critics. Zeenat Aman even starred in an international project, Shalimar which failed at box office. But soon Don was released and the movie again set her career soaring. She was also seen singing Chura Liya hai in Yaadon Ki Baraat which was a blockbuster film. In the 1980s she was seen in Insaaf Ka Tarazu and Abdullah. Lately, she has starred in Boom, Chaurahein and Ugly Aur Pagli. Zeenat Aman married Mazhar Khan in the 80s and is blessed with two sons, Azaan and Zahaan.
