Bumm Bumm Bole, is a story of a poor tea plantation worker Khogiram (Atul Kulkarni), his wife (Rituparna Sengupta), his son Pinu (Darsheel Safary) and daughter Rimzim (Zia). Khogiram wishes for his kids to be able to lead a life of dignity and so sends them both to a respectable school. However, due to the financial constraints in the family they can not afford uniforms for the children. One unfortunate morning Pinu misplaces Zia's shoes at a vegetable shop, which infuriates Khogiram to no end. Both the kids try to manage by taking turns wearing the one pair of shoes that they had, however with a lot of inconvenience. So in order to win back his father's confidence and shoes for his sister Pinu decides to run for a school Marathon hoping to be the winner of a new pair of shoes.
