Paathshaala is a movie about the children of tomorrow and education of today. The movie focuses on the Indian education system and questions its inadequacies. It sheds light on the shortcomings and wrong doings in today's schools where the high morals and basic ethics associated with the teaching profession seem to have been replaced with the selfish motive of making money. The cast includes Shahid Kapoor, Nana Patekar and many talented kids.
