Mitali (Rituparna Sengupta) is a fashion model who happens to fall for the princely charms of Karan Mittal (Rohit Roy), the heir to one of the richest families in India. However, after their marriage, Karan Mittal turns out to be a violent and abusive husband, who would resort to any means to subdue her independence. When Mitali is made a victim of marital rape, she decides to fight for her right and takes Karan to court. Pitted against the toughest and smartest lawyer and a detesting mother-in-law, Mitali now asks for justice from the court of law.
