Three idiots is an insightful comedy that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization. Two friends (Madhavan and Sharman Joshi) embark on a quest for their lost buddy. Their journey is no less than a roller-coaster ride as they encounter a long forgotten bet and even crash into a wedding and funeral. And then the real journey begins. Through memory lanes that unfold the story of their lost friend – the irrepressible Rancho (Aamir Khan), who with his unconventional thinking, changed their lives.
