Lafangey Parindey is the story of a group of youngsters living in the grungy backstreets of Mumbai. It is an unusual love story of One-shot Nandu (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Pinky Palkar (Deepika Padukone) whose path to love is paved by friendship, grit and hope. Nandu is a champion street fighter, who fights blindfolded and for whom, one-shot is literally what it takes. Pinky on the other hand, is blind, yet a uniquely ambitious girl, a powerhouse of talent who works at a regular 9-to-5 job at a mall and dreams of making it big as a dancer on skates. She wants to show the world that she can win too. Now both of them along with four other friends set out to achieve the impossible, challenging destiny to favour them.
