Bunty (Abhishek Bachchan) and Babli (Rani Mukherjee) are two small-town misfits who feel suffocated by small-city realities. So they pack their bags, and set off on a journey across the country. Bunty wants to be amongst the richest in the world. Babli thinks of herself as the most beautiful and exciting woman around and wants to be a star. In pursuit of their goals, they fool many people and break innumerable laws. They start gaining fame and wealth they've always wanted. But Dashrath Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), a ruthless cop is following their path, determined to put them behind bars.
