After a controversial past, Kabir Khan (Shahrukh Khan) has come back to redeem himself. He decides to coach the Indian Women’s National Hockey team, a team that exists more on paper and less on ground. The team is not a group, but a bunch of weird girls, with their own agenda and objectives. They just play for the sake of it, and not for the love of the game and glory of the nation. Kabir Khan is faced with a lot of challenges in making his team the national team, by overcoming these girls’ diverse backgrounds and attitudes. Chak De India is a story about our national game, an inspiring story of honesty, sincerity and integrity.
