Short Kut: The Con is On is a slice of life comedy revolving around two Bollywood strugglers - Raju and Shekhar. One of them (Arshad Warsi) makes it big as a superstar after stealing a script, while Shekhar (Akshaye Khanna), a talented director continues to struggle after losing his script. The story takes an interesting turn with Shekhar marrying the reigning female star (Amrita Rao). Now Shekhar is all set to get even with Raju, now his actor, while directing his first feature film. What follows is absolutely madness including potions of con, deceit and super stardom.
