Musician Vijay Anthony recently took part in the first ever Japanese Enka show in Chennai recently. The show was organised to raise funds for the Tsunami victims in Japan. The music director and his group performed live for the audience and also pledged their support for the Enka show.
Enka is a traditional Japanese form of music that usually describes sadness, loneliness, love and separation. The tour was organised by Indian Enka singer Sarbjit Singh Chadha in association with Tokamachi Natsumero Association.
But the highlight of the evening was Vijay Anthony's 'Nakku Mukka' track which he sang in typical Enka style.
