Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar) is a young Maharashtrian man who has great ambitions in life; however, his efforts turn out to be disastrous one after the other. To add to his sorrows, the new Municipal Commissioner co-incidentally happens to be his ex-girlfriend (played by Trisha Krishnan) who absolutely despises him and is waiting for a chance to get back at him and teach him a lesson for his wrong doings. With all such bad luck coming into picture, Sachin realizes that he needs to adopt ingenious means in order to survive in the rampant corrupt system.
