Milenge Milenge is a romantic love story between Amit (Shahid Kapoor) and Priya (Kareena Kapoor) who meet at a youth festival in Bangkok. Priya is a career-minded girl who wants her life partner to be a teetotaler, non-smoker and a very honest man. While Amit is the complete opposite. One day Amit accidentally lays his hands on Priya's personal diary and learns of her likes and dislikes. Then he poses as her dream mate and gives a totally different picture of himself. Priya gets attracted to Amit, and they fall in love. But soon Priya discovers that Amit has made a fool of her. She confronts him and breaks the relationship. Years later when both of them are about to get married to different people, they still have feelings for each other. So each of them simultaneously undertake one last attempt to find one another. Would love prevail over destiny?
