Jab We Met is a story of two strangers who meet on a train and how their lives get entwined with each other on this journey. It is a story about Aditya (Shahid Kapur), a defeated industrialist who is trying to escape the shame and rejection of his lover. He meets Geet (Kareena Kapoor), a beautiful talkative girl on her way to Bhatinda. It is a story of how their journey eventually becomes one.
